skida's conversations

It was a privilege to have meet Mike and have lunch together with him and Peter, Mike was a very talented and funny man, he was good at painting, poetry and photography. I remember getting a private message from him saying about his eyesight being that poor and not knowing if he had captured what he at aiming at with his camera, I told him he had, but is was upside down. I have to say a word about Peter, a young man who give a lot of his time to be a carer and a true friend to Mike, and i'm sure Mike will be looking down from heaven and watching over you Peter and your family. God Bless And Rest In Peace

They are fairly unique when one sees them feeding Lizab. Of course this only happens when they are covered in sea water. The very small 'tentacles' capture pieces of detritus as the tide washes over them. At low tide the 'plates' of the barnacle close over to protect the organism. I'm so pleased that you looked at this photo. Thank you.

Greetings, Amelia
