I am an enthusiastic amateur. I take mainly 35mm film. My photographic aspiration is to produce landscape photos that present the subject in the most pleasing and natural way possible. I no longer participate in the forum due to the absolute pig's ear that G**gle have made of it. I appreciate sincere comments and will endeavour to visit the galleries of those who leave them. I did take a photo of that one as well, but wasn't pleased with the result.

I never get bored with the place. Cheers.

As you may see from the patterns in the lake's surface, it was very windy. Putting a camera up to my eye made me worry a gust would carry me over the edge.

It is indeed a grand view, Mike, and although the Zenit E was broken I managed to recover these few shots, thanks to the quality of Kodak Gold 200 film. Thanks, and sorry you aren't feeling too good today.

In my past and in my prime

I have sat here for some time

watching ducks and swans glide past

then watching my children, both aghast

at such beauty at their feet

while I sat and watched from my seat.

I hope one day, to sit and watch

the ducks and swans glide past

and see delight in my grandchildren's faces

as they see, and look just as my children did- while Eamont River rolls past.
