I am an enthusiastic amateur. I use 35mm film and digital. My photographic aspiration is to produce landscape photos that present the subject in the most pleasing and natural way possible. I no longer participate in the forum due to the absolute pig's ear that G**gle have made of it. I appreciate sincere comments and will endeavour to visit the galleries of those who leave them. COPY AND PASTED COMMENTS WILL BE IGNORED AND/OR DELETED.

Very late thanks, Farlang, Kreps, Carl, and Doru for your visits, Likes, and comments.

And Marek, I hoped you'd enjoyed seeing this. Thanks for putting it among your favorites.

Greetings from Canada, Marilyn

Thanks duosdaddy. I eventually found out it was an abandoned mine shaft.

Thanks Marilyn. It is great when something comes out as you hoped it would, especially with film, where you don't know until after development. Unfortunately the tearoom is undergoing refurbishment so we missed our chance for some time to come.

Lovely picture. LIKE. Tim

Many thanks, Ali Tosun, for the comment and the Like. Greetings from Canada.

I'll buy you a Guinness tomorrow Mike, but if you aren't there to drink it at 2:15 PM, I'll drink it myself. ;-)

All the best for the weekend my good friend!

pete.t, ~ We can only record what is there to be seen when we visit Pete ~ so I was lucky this time as we over nighted here on the way back down from a visit to Scotland. All the best ~ nick
