Many thanks Nick. There's nothing like a low autumn sun for bringing out detail!

From this point of view the tower looks like a living thing, watching at me... maybe to eat me. Slightly frightening -but anyway calling. Well done. (Could work even stronger without the flag pole.)

Derek Geer Thanks Derek that is what prompted me to take the shot ~ All the best ~ nick

I'm sure there has been some renovation in this tower, Keith, or maybe the walls were built by the apprentices, and the master builder did the ceiling. Of course the Monday conundrum could be solved by saying that the walls were a Friday afternoon job. ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

An effect achieved with an active grandson (Cameron) and 3 frames per second shooting! Thanks again.

ps: We are off to the "burg" tomorrow for a couple of days, when we will be seeing Bizet's Carmen and doing some gentle sight-seeing. We are looking forward to it.

When they have finished with mine I'll send them over Amelia. I know that they renovated the Battery buildings some time ago, but I don't know how much work they had to do. I just like the sun light and shadows. Thanks

Wonderful photo! L&F!

Friendly greetings!

It looks like a swimming pool usable only at low tide Amelia.

It also looks dangerous to move close to the water here, due to the slippery kelp.

Nice shot! Like! :-)

Greetings and hugs,

Steve. D Hi Steve we arrived down in Sennan Cove this afternoon and later walked to Lands End and back. Thanks for replacing your YSL here ~ All the best to you ~ nick
