I am an enthusiastic amateur. I use 35mm film and digital. My photographic aspiration is to produce landscape photos that present the subject in the most pleasing and natural way possible. I no longer participate in the forum due to the absolute pig's ear that G**gle have made of it. I appreciate sincere comments and will endeavour to visit the galleries of those who leave them. Simply superb! L+F. Best wishes, Miguel.

Holy Island is a beautiful place to visit, Arto; so if ever you come to England you ought to go there. It is only accessible on foot or by car when the tide is low enough, and it's possible to get stranded on the island. The boat-sheds made from upturned hulls of old boats are a common sight here.

You too have a good weekend with plenty of photo opportunities.

Greetings to Finland, Amelia

Great!!! I can hear the noise of the waves!!! YSL

Best wishes from Spain, Begoña

Thank you Keith! For some years now, the tunnel is the only possibility to get to this side of the Island apart from a rough, very steep and slippery path. Before they built the passage through the mountain, one had to drive around it, which certainly was more of an adventure, with all the stones and pieces of rocks falling down onto the road. :)

Maybe if you go to Tenerife again, you'll take a trip to El Hierro, it's really worth a visit.

Best regards, May

Dana, Don, Keith, thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for the star, Don!

Warmest regards, May

The Northumberland (and Tyne and Wear) coastline has some fantastic spots, Amelia, and Seaton Sluice is the pub lunch capital of the area, with about five venues within a mile radius. Winter light on the coast can be quite stunning at times (especially about half an hour before this one was taken).

Thanks,

Keith
