KARL F

KARL F I was born in Germany (Tellingstad). My parents moved to Canada in 1956 to the Toronto area (Brampton) after living there and the Kitchener area for 23 years I moved to Idaho in 1978, and have lived in the Boise area ever since. I'm retired, not my choice, but after 31 years at Hewlett Packard (laid off in 2009) & 42 years of working I figured what the heck! I love the west and would like to travel more, but will take what I can get. Hobbies include motorcycles and taking pictures and should have gone into that profession when I was young. Now I just do it for fun and memories and get lucky with a decent shot now and then. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I've submitted. Most of my pictures were taken by digital camera, a few older ones have been scanned and uploaded. My cameras of choice at this time: Nikon Coolpix S8200 and Nikon D90, but have used Nikon Coolpix S6000 and Nikon D70 & D200. (Canon PowerShot SD800 IS, Pentax Optio S6 and a Pentax Optio 555 [that disappeared at LAX] are some others I've used along with HP Cameras. My first digital camera was an OLYMPUS C2020Z ) I really should have taken this more seriously! :-) I also have 35mm cameras from years ago! BTW: If you don't already know; when looking at a picture, go to the bottom right of the page and click "Extra information" to get Camera info!
