IIt's a joke. I just love the way this road looks. There is a two lane paved road that runs the entire length of Eleuthera. Other than that, most of the roads do look like this.
Does anyone know the history of this old church?
I just visited Governer's Harbour last week and I was charmed by the old church, the Haynes Library and the beautiful water.
Hi Gmansolf, This area used to be the original harbor until it shoaled up over 100 years ago. A friend of mine who was the original owner of Rainbow Inn At Hattchet Bay brought me there to snorkel to find little treasures of that time. Old bottles, and i recovered 2 matching hatch covers among other cool items. If you return to this area put that on your agenda, lots of fun! Ray Fuoto, New York
Nice photos. This house is owned by Betty Taylor, a realtor who lives there part of the year. Great little house. Formerly part of the Potlatch property, owned by my step-grandmother, Diana Adams, along with all of the Tippy's properties. Regards.
