L'on peut apercevoir un bout de l'ancienne citadelle almoravide datant du 11eme siècle.

I was there in 2006 for 3 months, staying at the Rose de Sable. The river is allowed to flow a couple of times a year when they open the gates of the dam! There's a great swimming hole just out of the picture to the right. I'd love to go back one day! Thanks for the memory.
