Of all the lovely views of my beloved town, you go and choose this one.There are many views of Swindon from rolling hills to lakes and rivers and you thought it best to represent us with this image. What is wrong with an ariel shot of the magic roundabout or the building of houses at our western expansion called Abbeymeads(a housing estate so big it takes us to the outlying villages nearly ten miles away)
There are many more views like yours of Swindon but nobody wishes to publish them
Try this for fun: draw a line in Google Earth from your marker to the Petersham Hotel tower that can be seen in the left side of your image.
Not convinced? Maybe drawing a second line from your marker through the lonely tree in the middle of your image will do the trick. South West.
