Developed an early HDR linearization algorithm that allows accurate color computation, with minimal shadow or noise artifacts. Designed to faithfully record the very high dynamic range of night scenes and the highly saturated colors characteristic of fluorescent minerals and night scenes, the method also works well for accurate daylight HDR photography.

This favorite motel was revamped circa 2010 as a Budget Inn.

Hey Ed! You're absolutely correct about the lens! When I purchased the Sony SLT-A77V I invested as much in their G-series 70-400mm super-telephoto not only for the "sweet" aperature, but for the clairity when coupled with their 2x adapter for a 1200eq 35mm format. I use it mainly for wildlife (eagles, deer, etc.) but am now tempted to point it at the skies such as yourself since I've discovered its night capabilities. My brother turned me on to the waterfalls idea, so maybe I'll hook up with him for nebulae. Thanks for the inspiration!!! Timbo

This simple farmland scene is transformed into a beautiful landscape by the moonlight and stars. You also captured what I suspect is an iridium flare, but looks like a bright meteor. This would be my vote for overall winner of the full moon contest. Best, Ed
