When I was in the US Army, this was the admin area for A Battery, 3rd Battalion, 59th Air Defense. THis was a HAWK missle unit with the tactical site on tom of the hill to the east. I was there from May 1984 to May 1986. The site was remote and beautiful

Wenn ich mich nicht irre, dann liegt ein Stückchen weiter die Straße hoch doch die Wachbaracke des Munitionsdepots, welche Tatort des sog. Soldatenmordes von Lebach war.

Wow, what a memory. We used to take PT runs from the back gate of Kleber Kaserne into the Waldpark. We would pass by this "bunker" on the way, but I never bothered to go check it out during my off duty time.
