To locate the water source... as you are looking at the front of the shelter, it is around the left side of the shelter and through the clearing and down the hill behind the shelter.
For a GREAT privy, look down the hill, past the shelter.

Hikers have reported problem bears frequenting the shelter site.
In addition, the bear cable system for storing food is reported to be unusable.
Hikers will need to make extra effort to hang food bags properly and keep the shelter site clean.
