3 spans of the Turners Flat bridge have ended up out to sea. The council only completed major repairs some months ago. They dont seem to be in a hurry to get it passable again, leaving many residents with a long roundabout trip.

The Governor is an example of flat-topped flow remnants, forming an eroded trachyte lava terrace.

The rock face collects water and it falls onto this jumble of boulders. Its a consistently beautiful place for a walk.

It certainly has some amazing scenery, and you got to see it in the best way. Thats a good effort on a bike. Did you come out the Carrai or Boonanghi way?

Its steeper than it looks. A wet day and a lot of leaf litter had my Hilux sliding towards the trees. I'll wait for a dry day and try it again.
