A beautiful place to visit and picnic. This is one of the few remaining wooden covered bridges in Southern Oregon! The McKee Bridge Historical Society has done a great job in maintaining this bridge.

Great picture. Served as a lookout there one summer in the early 60s. There was this little ladder on the right you climbed up to get into the lookout - where one lived. Very precipitous on the cliff side, and a long way down.

Yeah, it had to die some...century. As a kid in the 1960s on the way to the summer cottage at Cannon Beach I enjoyed this amazing tree. Fifteen feet dbh and 204' tall, is that right? It snapped off in the big windstorm a few years back. I have a sliver of it as a keepsake. It broke off about 60' up. Hopefully they'll keep the wayside open just for nostalgia's sake.

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't, however, see this as a free speech or freedom of expression issue. Google has decided that anaglyphs don't meet their vision for accessible images of the world. They require special equipment that is not readily available to every google earth user. Do I think it's a poor decision? Yes. I just post my 3D images elsewhere.
