That is where I was born
Beautiful picture! Simply breathtaking.
This is not Nowy Dwór Gdański but Elbląg !
The house with the black roof - Kaffi Krók was on fire last week and the upper levels were all destroyed.
As far as I know it is just a pedestrian passage under the railroad tracks. We walked through it - 40-60 feet long.
This is incredible.
Known in Iceland as "Heiðlóa" (related to Heath, or heather; moorland or tundra). Their musical call will carry for hundreds of meters across the tundra and I think they are the first bird in spring. They are larger than most plovers and very cheerful in disposition. In mid-winter, the radio station sometimes plays for a minute just the sound of the Heiðlóa calling across the tundra and it brings delight to most listeners, certainly so for me.
The lupine in the foreground really make this photo excellent.
Excellent job capturing the power of a mighty waterfall.
