Here's something that's a little galling: this image, which was stitched together from 5 portrait photos taken with my old Pentax Opto S6 turned out to be a smidgeon over 15 megapixels, with which I confess I was reasonably pleased and a little impressed.
Until, that is, I found that every picture I take using my new Nikon Coolpix S8200 is over 15 MP.
Sadly NOT Man Sands (which incidentally is one word). Mansands is nearer Brixham. This is Scabbacombe and as for "sands" .. well, you probably have to turn some rocks over to get any sand here. I agree re the rubbish though.
The red craft on the Ottawa River towards the centre of the photo is Lady Dive, an amphibious bus which tragically sank the following year, and 4 people died--see here. Seems to be up and running again now, though...

Your location in the description for this photo is incorrect. It's on Victoria Island, not Philemon Island.
Also I would imagine that small pieces are carried away by school kids on walks. not low life scumbags Geejames
