Hi there,
I live on Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia (West Pacific). I teach at the College of Micronesia in the Education Division.
All of the photographs after the fall of 2010 (Chemnitz, Narita, Chuuk, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, and--most importantly--Pohnpei) here are taken with an Panasonic Lumix FZ38, which I bought for 270 Euros in anticipation of my move to Pohnpei in Oct 2010 and with which I'm very happy. None of the pictures here is photo-shopped. A few are slightly cropped, but that's it. If the horizon is parallel to the top and bottom, it's because I held the camera right. And: I don't use a tripod. All photos, including those taken at night, are hand-held. Enjoy!
