Il n'y a jamais eu de cathédrale à Saint-Lô.
Pour qu'il y ait cathédrale, il faut qu'il y ait un évêque.
Pour le département de la Manche, la cathédrale est à Coutances.

Oui, cette église romane est superbe.
Nous avons entre-autres, deux autres églises romanes de premier plan à proximité. Elles sont situées à Norrey-en_Bessin et à Secqueville-en-Bessin.

I leave in Normandy (France) and I loaded also a lot of churches’s pictures in the site
http://clochers.org/ specially Calvados department.
The smaller administrative area in France is named “commune”.
There are 36740 “communes “ in France and each of them have one church or more.
The ”communes” were created after French revolution in 1789, but the churches are often older.

Cet édifice n'est pas la cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Lisieux, située quelques rues plus loin, mais l'ancienne église Saint-Jacques.
