This was one of the most fun stops we made in Texas. We arrived on a cold, wet, rainy day and were the only visitors. We had an opportunity to warm ourselves by the fireplace and talk to a most knowledgable staff. We were lead on a tour by a local caver who had many stories to tell, and showed us the painstaking work they were doing to clean and recondition damaged formations. This is a place we will be sure to revisit.

I climbed St. Helens in August 1977. I would have loved to have seen the remains of the lookout but it was still under snow and ice...Thanks again for your considerable efforts to share with us your journeys via fotos and ample explanation.
