I remember this! I was on the other side, as this crossed the Highway. No one seemed to know what it would do, so traffic was slow and tense, and eventually came to a full stop to let this pass. It dropped some decent-sized hail. After it passed, all that was left was fairly clear blue skies, except for this massive structure, and I never looked at clouds the same way again.
