Adam Salwanowicz
Since I can remember photography has been a part of my life.
I'm person with a lot of hobbies. Windsurfing, bodybuilding, motorcycles & travel to mention but a few.
Some of them faded away during the years , but photography was always there and continues to grow stronger with time. The last few years photography has been on the top of the list.
For a while it was about the equipment, it cost a fortune to buy new cameras and lenses. Then I realized that it is not about the camera.
I heard about it, I read about it, but as many of you know I had to find it out for myself. At some point I had a rucksack which weighed more than 30 kg. It was impossible to hike with all the cameras , lenses and camping gear and sometimes a dog! On one of my trips to the Alps I could only take one camera body and two lenses and it worked out ok. I took some fantastic shots on this trip and I didn't need all the gear I own to do so.
As you can see from my pictures I love nature, but after all those years I find out that what I enjoy the most is the feeling of freedom and escapism I experience while on location.
I hope that you enjoy my photographs as much a I have enjoyed taking them.

Hi Adam, came across your Alps series while browsing and the images are really remarkable. This particular one has achieved a fantastic sense of the massive scale of the scene. Sharpness and colour treatment round off a glorious panorama. Greetings from the UK, Matthew
