A solid drive left centre off the tee is a pre-requisite to scoring well on this hole. Bunkers left and right of the green calls for a reasonably straight approach shot.
There's an enormous bunker right front that will grab your attention from the teebox.

The landing area off the tee narrows considerably 220 yds out. A fairway metal or hybrid club should leave you with a wedge or 9 iron at most for your approach shot.
Plenty of trouble left of the green from the tee. Bail out right to minimize the carnage.
