My neighbor belonged to this church. She had the audacity to believe that only people in their congregation would go to heaven. As if! She finally developed Alzheimer's and before she died she couldn't even remember her own faith. I don't mean to sound cruel, but it was almost a fitting irony. Even with that, she was a very kind woman and I'm sure, despite her odd ideas, she is in heaven today.
