It does surprise me how well a cheap camera will work sometimes. Before I bought my DSLR I was taking pics with a small Sony digital and caught some great fireworks pics which went against everything I had read about photography (larger aperture = smaller F# which = faster shutter speed.) But the small aperture on the sony worked just fine. Very good work with the Rioch.
