G'day, mate! You're either very lucky or very quick to get a shot of a platypus. I have only ever managed to see ripples on the water. Some of your images are terrific. Keep it up, we appreciate it.

On bridge at Louth looking upstream, Darling River.
At the time of this photo the water present had been released for the Town use, upstream from the Warrego River which flows from Queensland just north of Charleville and joins the Darling between Louth and Bourke.
Louth has always made us feel welcome. Even though the town is small the locals have a big heart. Visitors taking at break at Shindys Inn can exchange a wealth of information with the locals.

Looks like the lake level is somewhat lower that when we were a few years ago, in '81...
