Mellot produces excellent wine but if you return to that area I strongly recommend visiting the cave of Daniel Crochet in Bue. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed by the quality of his wine and since he isn't as well known as Mellot or some of the other Crochets (Dominique is his uncle), his wine is still a great bargain!
The bourse may at one time in history have served as town hall, I should check that out, but I think sandberg confuses this with the 'belfort', which today is not even townhall at all. The town hall is on the other side of the 'kattestraat' also on the grote markt
