Thank you Paula! It was a very rough sea that day and it was a little terrifying at times, but it was well worth the experience!... Cheers Jean...

Hi Kornélia, Indeed it was a thrilling experience to witness such powerful waves crashing against the rugged rocks of Doolin on the beautiful and scenic west of Ireland. I hope you do get to see it some day!
Cheers Jean....

Well, Larne is a port town 34 klma approx north of Belfast, in County Antrim in the north east. You Should lok it up on Gllgle Earth, a great web site for that kind information. As for the phrase "Black Irish" They are dozens of theories, none of which have been substantiated. Most lightly suggestions are that it refers to the Irish who have dark hair and eyes, which probably derives from a Spanish influence from the era when the ship called "The Spanish Armada" was shipwreacked off our shores. The native Irish is said to be of red hair and green eyes and of pale complexion or fairhaired and blue eyed. The latter probably a mix from the settlers from the Danish and Norman invasions, It seems everyone wants a piece of Ireland even back then. Ha... You will find many references on this subject on the web site Wikepedia Free Encyclopedia. Hope this information will be of use to you. Cheers.... Jean P.S. A visit to Ireland? Definitely first on your to do list!!!!!

Another great shot of the Jack B, a very popular boat to take to the Aran Islands and also to take to view the Cliffs of Moher from sea level. Fantastic!!!! Google
