™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ I've always loved nature and the outdoors, there is something magical about it. Why is it that scenes of nature are used to evoke the calm serenity of spiritual materials while also to inspire and motivate it's viewers? The way it calms yet invigorates the spirit can only be described as harmony. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ Is it possible to capture the Zen of the forest? I have seen many come very close and often wonder if I will ever be able to truly capture the feeling I get while I'm there. In the end I am happy to have any excuse to venture into God's country regardless of the outcome. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ What I like most about photography is the way it changes the way I look at the world, I notice the flowers, the way the light reflects off a persons eye and the ever changing colors and shapes. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™

Moment of magic, Ken. Great evidence of what has made the summer solstice something special in the ancient days.

Me too, Nick. I just hope this slowly running machine's crew will add some oil to the engine and quite soon. One odd announcement and then a total silence... Spooky instead awesome :)

The statue is by the British artist, Antony Gormley. Gormley often uses casts of his own body in his work. Here's some more of his stuff:

The huge 'Angel Of The North' is just fantastic 'in the flesh' - I've never seen a picture of it that comes close to capturing its power. You can't help but be moved when you're in its presence.

Beautiful and colorful scenery, enchanting ambience. Fav+Like. Greetings
