™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ I've always loved nature and the outdoors, there is something magical about it. Why is it that scenes of nature are used to evoke the calm serenity of spiritual materials while also to inspire and motivate it's viewers? The way it calms yet invigorates the spirit can only be described as harmony. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ Is it possible to capture the Zen of the forest? I have seen many come very close and often wonder if I will ever be able to truly capture the feeling I get while I'm there. In the end I am happy to have any excuse to venture into God's country regardless of the outcome. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ What I like most about photography is the way it changes the way I look at the world, I notice the flowers, the way the light reflects off a persons eye and the ever changing colors and shapes. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™

Did I ever, Jethro!

Thank you very much, Jethro and Ken Kruse, I'm really glad that you two liked these.

I was quite surprised at his appetite, Jethro, I gave him two small worms through the day and he ate 'em both - I wish I could've seen him do the deed! Yep, I put him back in the bush seconds after I made the last shot. I miss him already ...

No, no, Ken Kruse, he's quite warm! This is the position he would assume if I only left him alone long enough. Its like he would tuck in his legs and hunker down to make himself smaller, like I wouldn't see him or something.

PS - see caption ...

Thank you very much, Jethro! I definitely enjoyed the live-subject-close-up-photography thing much better than working with 'expired' subjects! My bathroom or yours? :)

... definitely looking for something, Ken Kruse, but I think it was an escape route he was looking for!

PS - I added a caption for the basic setup.

thank you for LF Nenad!

Hey Ken maybe a smartphone app would do well!

Wow...excellent composition...
