™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ I've always loved nature and the outdoors, there is something magical about it. Why is it that scenes of nature are used to evoke the calm serenity of spiritual materials while also to inspire and motivate it's viewers? The way it calms yet invigorates the spirit can only be described as harmony. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ Is it possible to capture the Zen of the forest? I have seen many come very close and often wonder if I will ever be able to truly capture the feeling I get while I'm there. In the end I am happy to have any excuse to venture into God's country regardless of the outcome. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™ What I like most about photography is the way it changes the way I look at the world, I notice the flowers, the way the light reflects off a persons eye and the ever changing colors and shapes. ™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™™

You may be right. I do remember the drive up to Trillium but this was years ago, I just don't remember taking all those back roads up to Lost Lake.

Very nice photo! LIKE 456.

Best wishes from Germany, Gerda

Beautiful landscape and coastline !!L!! Best regards, Hans

Actually it IS Lost Lake and most definitely NOT Trillium. Trillium is on the other side of the mountain, the south side. This view is from the Northwest side, if it were from Trillium you would be able to see Crater Rock, Castle Crags, Steel Cliffs, Hogsback and even the Palmer Snowfield, all of which are visible from the south side and none of which are visible in this photo taken from Lost Lake. I am quite positive about that.
