What a great shot, I thought climbing up thorpe cloud while at dove dale a few times but never got round to it, looks like the view is worth it, LIKE, All the best, Steve

Thanks Bill. I've neglected this site a ibit recently for Flickr instead, but I'm trying to make up for this. All the best. Andrew

A nice monochrome composition Andrew, a good series of misty scene's. L/F. kind regards, Bill.

Thanks Steve - just catching up on Panoramio after several months! I vitied the area 3 times in 7 days in snow like this to get good lighting. This day i drove up from the Home Counties but hit heavy snow at Derby. Followed the A6 with 6-9" of snow up to Bakewell where i abandoned the car and walked. I had set off early, and the route is fairly level so no problems with stuck traffic (it was a Saturday. Oddly I could have driven to Monyash, because even after 6" snow overnight this road had been ploughed before sunrise

Great shot Andrew, remind's me of 2012 when i walked over these two beautiful hill's...Phewwwww! LIKEbest wish's, Bill.
