Hi Kay: That same bridge was used as a fishing pier for years, both sides.
But it started to decay and become a safety hazard to the public, and was closed and later desmantled, as you said.

I'm not too familiar with this site but Icertainly do hope that this messenger landed and went through UM-OK!
