Now closed, I am one of the locals who was not a regular. Pub habits have changed significantly in my life time, although I have never been a regular in any pub anywhere.

Hythe Pier - a ride on a 1922 train along the historic pier plus a ferry trip across Southampton Water right up to Southampton's Town Quay - brilliant!
