This is the Awatere Bridge in use in 2006. The bridge is now closed to traffic with a new road bridge now in use. The old bridge is still the rail bridge.
Taken in Feb 2008, Lancaster Park scene just before the start of a one day cricket match between NZ and England - won by NZ. As can be seen the stands on the eastern side are all gone awaiting the construction of the new stands pre World Rugby Cup 2011
