Dear all. That suggestion for an association was really a good idea that deserves following. My brothers and I attended Bat Valley PS from 1975 to 1981 when we emigrated during the escalations. 30 years later I realize that some of my fondest memories were made in BVPS. During those days (I don't know what the practice now is), the term reports were type-written, with all the names and performance ranks of the pupils. I still have those reports - now, of course, on yellowing pieces of paper that are my connection to BVPS! To help you along with the formation of the old-pupils association I can have these scanned and hopefully hosted by you.

Dr Opio Richard (Ocaya) University of Free State, South Africa.

St. Mary Kevin Orphanage School is a great place to visit near Kampala. They are providing an excellent example of African-led solutions to problems of extreme poverty and homelessness. Learn more at www.ChangeTheTruth.org
