Andrew Royle's conversations

Well, the dark object in the middle is a fadened leaf, that did not turn to yellow - probably because it was pulled off the branch in summer, before the colour changed ...

Thank you very much for that Michael. I was not aware of the symbolic nature of the blue and white coloring on the BMW logo. That is an appropriate co-incidence in this case. The choice of title to go with the image was a very deliberate one. I wanted to represent Abergavenny with a bit more flash.

Greetings from Australia.

Sorry, no edelweiß, but dandelions and marguerites.

I like your photos - especially photos like this (intresting rhythm) - Michael

That would be ample knowledge I suspect. With a bit of luck the exotic image you had stored away in your brain remains intact.

On the practical side it is a demanding trek. Not so much because of the physical effort required, but those rocks you see are very hard on shoe leather. We did not arrive there fully prepared - as a consequence we could only walk a short distance before being forced to call it quits. I damaged what I was wearing on my feet.

Hi Andrew. Very beautiful and interesting photo. Stunning poppies field in the city !!! Surprising contrast flowers and concrete highways, buildings. And all this people picking poppies !!!. Thanks for this great shot and for your comments to my photos. Greetings from France. Yves.

Good shot! (Did you get him?)

Thanks Vasco, a bit different to the glossy tourism promotions. They like to show the harbor full of water! -AR.

It is unusual for Fuji-san to be photographed in this way. Reminds me very much of the Hokusai ukiyo-e work. Well done. -AR.
