Connecticut Yankee back again. I had an extensive gallery that was eliminated for some reason so I am working on rebuilding it. Many of my old friends will recognize these. I am not re-uploading all the images from the old site but just the ones that I like the best. I hope you enjoy your visit here. I do not have a lot of time to spend on Panoramio but if you leave a comment, I will try to get back to you! Thanks for stopping by.

Connecticut Yankee's conversations

Thank you. We are blessed with some awesome sunsets here!

Thank you. It is convenient to know folks who live on the lake! This was looking out their window!

Thanks! It was a beautiful morning!

Thanks Hank. I don't get on here as much as I would like but once in a while I try to check it out. Always good to hear from you. Hope you are well. Bruce Hey we finally made a trip to Brooklyn. Really enjoyed it. Coney Island for the first time also a lovely evening at Robert Moses.

Thank you Phyllis. I just saw your comment. I am so glad that the Ponemah Mill is being restored. Is part of it going to be a museum telling the history? My dad was raised in Taftville and I still have lots of relatives there. His mom worked there for years having started when she was only nine years old. Would love to see it when it is done.

OK, wav-Anhang geht hier ja nicht ;-)

Not so many left in Connecticut Michael although interestngly they are building more in Vermont. Saw a lot of newer ones there when we were up there last. This one was built in 1842 and is where I proposed to my wife....she loves covered bridges.

Thanks Michael. This one was in my original gallery. It is from about 6 or 7 years ago. We have had a hard winter here. I won't mind not seeing fall again for a few months!

Thanks Michael. Not much has changed since the last time I was there. This was actually my first time to the New York side. I always crossed into Ontario to see them. A little more difficult now as you need a passport!

Thanks Michael! I find this kind of thing fascinating but it is difficult when one does not know the language.
