Hi, my name is John. I used to live on Eleuthera back in 1969 with my family when my dad was stationed on the navy base which is now closed. I saw the concrete basin which use to collect the water from the rain. And also, used to attend a one room schoolhouse which use to across the street from this cove. I've been interested on vacationing on Eleuthera in the near future. Is the closed base still accessible? I remember going glass ball hunting on the Atlantic side just across the concrete basin next to it. Also, witnessed the arrival of the Apollo 10 astronauts when they splashed down in 1969. Alot of memories from this island!!! Can you mail me brouchers from your resort? My address is 2308 Martha Drive Lake Alfred, Florida 33850 THANKS!
sugar beach is actually considered to be anything east and north of the suda store jetty, (now ABC Store). the beach in the photo has been called a few things though. rice reef, bears left, ohukai beach, but whatevers, just thought i would throw my two cents in.
This view of Molokini is from South Maui; near the ahihi reseve not West Maui. Ok Maybe it is southwest side of the island on the compass but no one here would call this West Maui.

Hi Island Boy,
this beach is actually Unicorn Cay, Governor's Harbour. My favorite.
