Bob Witlox's conversations

Bob, thanks for the photo. However I don't agree with the idea of kindness by chopping the human bodies. Generally we don't have to provide food to the wild animals and birds, their food chain is natural, but chopping a human body is an insult. But hey, you don't have to agree with me on this.

What an experience! You must have had to work hard to get here. Is this village Choser correctly placed?

Did you read Michel Peissel's book on Mustang before you left? He metnions the villages of Trenkar and Phuwa lower down and ahead of Lo Manthang. Have these village names changed?

gorgeous and precepitous perspective

thanx and always have a save return home !

Beautiful,Excellent Shot,
Greetings from India,Kamalakar.
Dear friends, the repeated continuously link of the petition form to SAVE PANORAMIO is not for people they have already signed, as you and me and many other members. We must repeat the link in our comments on photos, for all these members, who haven't signed yet and don't know about the situation and probably they enter in your galleries and photos. That's why the link of the petition form must be added in every comment we make.

schönes Bild vom Dach der Welt

This picture is taken on the Chadar winter trek over the frozen Zanskar river. It takes 5 days to walk from Ladakh to Padum over the river.

I did a trek in Summer too, from Lamayuru to Darcha in 3 weeks. That route is not motorable. Parts of it are. Especially near central Zanskar, but they are building more and more roads. Along the Zanskar river to Ladakh too, so eventually you will be able to travel from Chiling (Ladakh) to Padum by car.

What a wonderful place, far away of my country!!!... Greeting from Chile
