730 Vaughan, I've been to that house, walked around that house, I didn't see the inside, though I could have the workers were there, and the doors were open, though I did peek inside!
This was the farm of James Couzens, a coal dealer who invested in Henry Ford's 3d, and successful company, and made millions. It was a dairy farm on both sides of Long Lake Road, with a tunnel for the cows to come and go. The land is now Wabeek Subdivision.
This was my Grandmother's home. I spent a lot of time there especially during the summer! What fond memories I have of her and "The House" as we called it.

Detroit is such an amazing place and tragic one at the same time. I certainly hope the city returns itself to its former glory. Greeting esyntryk.
