I live in the small village of Acton Turville in Gloucestershire, which is 1 mile south of Badminton, famous for the annual Badminton Horse Trials, the Beaufort Hunt, and the "invention" of the game of Badminton. It was also the village where I was brought up, my playground being it's woodlands, fields, park and farms. It is therefore perhaps no surprise that many of the photos in my gallery are rural related. Most will not be the stunning scenic, sunsets etc like those taken by many of Panoramio photographers, but more of the simple documentary type photos of village streets, houses, shops etc, and life in the surrounding countryside. Where known, I have added information under the photos. With villages ever expanding, and life within them changing in so many ways, recording those simple scenes for future generations that may live, or visit those villages, I hope will be of historical interest.
Footnote - All photos pre-2008 are scanned from either transparencies or negatives, plus some I took in the 1960/70's with cheap basic cameras, so please excuse the poor quality of some.

Há quem diga que foi inventada durante o tempo dos descobrimentos, pois era o que as famílias dos marinheiros sentiam quando eles partiam à descoberta dos novos mundos e ficavam anos e anos sem terem notícias suas!
E na verdade, ao longo de todos estes anos, nós aqui no Panoramio, começamos a sentir-nos como uma verdadeira família.
Infelizmente chegou a hora de vos dizer adeus, meus queridos amigos... :-(

Veľmi pekne ďakujem za všetok strávený čas pozeraním mojich fotiek, daním hodnotenia ako aj pozretia mojich článkov alebo videií. Veľmi si vážim toho, že mi panoramio pomohlo spoznať krásu sveta prostredníctvom úžasných ľudí a ich pohľadov na svet. Pre nedostatok času ohodnotím aspoň 1 fotografiu z galérie Like + Favourite a keď mi zvýši ešte čas - po rozlúčení sa so všetkými priateľmi panoramia, tak sa vrátim pozrieť ďalšie fotky. Bolo by mi však ľúto, keby pre nedostatok času, nikto nevidel moje úsilie z päťdesiatich letných výletov - preto tu je výber toto najlepšieho z leta 2016.
