This is a perfect moment beautifully captured.
You really captured this beautifully.
Ha ha ha! Thank you for this funny comment! I too found it very odd that someone placed pumpkins on the gravesites...and the graves are old, some going back to the 1700's.
Regards from Newport, sharon :)
A frame of blossums...beautiful!
Nice shot! I'd like to be the owner of that home in the background ... the one with the 7 visible chimneys ... okay I'll settle for the other one!!! Grin!!!
Boston has to be one of my all time favorite cities. I especially like the harbor area - or as they say in Boston, 'Haa-Bar' - grin. Nice shot. Excellent photo. You captured the light perfectly. All the action is right on the horizon & you balanced the lighter sky off very well with the added expanse of water in the foreground. I love the angler on the end of the pier giving us a sense of relaxed action, as does the sail boat coming lazily in to the harbor. The red 'port' running light on the tug or fishing boat at right hints at more that we can not see and leaves a distinct feeling that this is indeed an active port & harbor. The street lights on the bridge accent its' curvature, which seems to compliment the curvature of the earth and light at dusk. This is a wonderful photo. Bravo!! With my warmest and best regards from Nanaimo, BC, Hans :o)
Great shot. Wonderful reflection and awesome framing of the wedding using the bridge. It tells an interesting story. Bravo. With my warmest and best regards from Nanaimo, BC, Hans :o)
I'm a sucker for Eastern White Pine and even more so when it's a 'lone wind swept Eastern White Pine'. Great shot ... it is very representational of the New Hampshire - Vermont White Mountains, and of course the Acadia Forest Region. And I almost forgot - Not - the train & train tracks helps tell a wonderful story. Well done. Bravo !! :o) With my warmest and best regards from Nanaimo, BC, Hans :o)
Interesting subject matter. It would be great if you mapped it on google or here in panoramio's version of google. This is almost an iconic example of the old Hotels pthe rich folk escaped too in the summer. This would also be of great interest to many golfers :o) - PS: I like this shot very much. It's composed perfectly and tells a great story both historically and in the present ... in short all the things you want a photo to do !! Bravo & thanks for sharing this with the world ... don't forget to map it please !!! :o)
