I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER "LAKERS" PHOTOGRAPH IN ALL MY YEARS HOPPING AROUND GOOGLE EARTH'S PORTS OF CALL. I FIRST SAW THIS IN THE EARLY TO MID 2000's AND AM GLAD IT'S STILL HERE. FIRST PRIZE IN MY BOOK OF AWESOME PHOTOS. THANK YOU. BRI.

l love this factory building.........the architecture....

The continuation of the trail beyond the metal structure is the Uhthoff Recreational Trail. As of May 2013 this trail now has a crushed limestone surface extending 7 km to Sturgeon Bay Road in Coldwater. This is ride-able with basically any type of bicycle.

the Queen Elizabeth was the king's consort.( the queen mum)

This is actually an old repair shed for rail cars, not a warehouse. The spur entered this building on the west side, where you can see the grey building on the left side of the photograph.

This was a very popular swimming place for the local kids. It was known as "Divers Doom" or just "The Doom" because of the danders of diving in at the wrong place.

This is known as "The Butts". It is the last remains of an old railway swing bridge across the old canal.

My father and his pals called this "The Seven Steps" because of the many stones from top to water.

This is the old effluent waterway from the Beaverwood Fibre Co. I has been cleaned of old PCB's at a cost of a few million dollars. The papermill now has a closed water system in place. The waterway is under the new canal.

This building was demolished in Summer 2011.
