This is Nutter Field House, not Baker Theater.

I got in country 2-1-68 as an E-2 rank and was transferred to Chu lai 178th co. about 2 wks. later. I spent the first 3 mos. on the line in maint. but signed up for crew chief and then on to a flt eng. which was very cool. I replaced Smoot on 466 who ETS'd around 1-1-69 and another name is Driscol out of Mt. so if any of you good old boys want to catch up This flt. line could have been either one. GOOD MEMORIES

Please correct the spelling of the fort. It is 'Sumter', not 'Sumpter'.
