I like to shoot landscapes and the natural surroundings in my home area of southern Montana and other places where I travel. I also venture into northern Wyoming quite often.

K. Stahley's conversations

Nikos Greek, Thank you for the L&F. I'm glad you took the time to review some of my photos. I live in a semi-arid desert area of Montana, USA, so when my wife & I took a vacation to the rain forest of Washington state, we were amazed at the lush vegetation such as this tree and the moss on it.

Nikolai Karaneschev, Thank you for the L&F. This was such a pleasant river side drive that my wife & I took this summer while vacationing in Oregon.

Станислав Рубан, Thank you for the L&F. I have a great venue for taking bird photos out my bedroom window. They love to eat the crab apples in the winter.

Станислав Рубан, Thanks for the L and thanks for looking at my gallery. This one did not make it to google earth so I know you took the time to look through most of my photos. Thanks.

Станислав Рубан, Thank you for the L&F. I appreciate you looking through my photos.

That was the first and only time I have ever seen a western tanager. If you see them quite often near Afton, and in the chokecherries, maybe I should be looking more carefully along the small creeks around here that are lined with chokecherries. I'll start trying to pay more attention. I always seem to get side tracked by the mountain bluebirds, my favorite of colorful birds.

Thank you very much , best wishes !
Sorry for delayed answer , Mircea R.

ThomasQuint, I like your rainbow photo. I've been by this location many, many times and it is a beautiful spot along the road. You found it even more beautiful with the rainbows. You captured some great colors in the setting sun. L1
