Hello, and a southern welcome from the City that Care Forgot, New Orleans, Louisiana USA,! I am, Chef Michael the multi-talented local Artist, Musician, Photographer and Singer. My interest in photography at an early age, encouraged my parents to present to me my first camera a Kodak Brownie when I was 10 years old. Having formal training in Art while attending Grammar School and 4 years training in Commercial Art in High School, upon graduating I pursued a career in Commercial Art and Graphic Art in layout and design located in New Orleans, LA USA. Also, I enrolled for two years at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA USA to continue my education in Fine Arts. In retrospect, I advanced from that Kodak Brownie to an Olympus OM10, Cannon A1, Cannon EOS 10, Acer and Hewlett Packard lap top web camera, HTC 5 pixel mobile phone and from time to time disposable cameras. I have always used my view finder as a canvas and developed a unique style in my photography over the years. I am thankful for my professional careers as a Commerical and Graphic Artist. When I look through the viewfinder, I have always sensed a natural ability while i am taking photos. Basically, I enjoy taking pictures, of my surroundings. You are the finder of the view and in return, its what the viewer perceives your photo to represent as in a smile to their face, a tear to their eye, an opinion or just pure enjoyment. They are the thoughts in my mind, the images I see in my dreams but most of all, the spirit in my heart, the love of photography and my home New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Thru the camera's viewfinder I simply try to capture the spirit of that particular time and place for others to enjoy, Thank you for all the comments and for viewing my gallery of "eye see COLORS" "COLOR is merely a de-fraction of light"(copyright text 2012) MyPhotoImages (c) 1960 - 2012.
