This is actually East St. Louis. Almost a ghost town, it has some interesting architecture returning to the soil. This building had trees growing out of the upper floors a few years ago.
Map shows approximate location, since the roads are not listed, and I did not have GPS back in 1988. A great spot along the gravel road to see Sequim, the Straight and Canada in the distance.

Nice picture. The color is great.
This is the view northwest from the top of Grass Mountain. Nice view, nice drive for a high-clearance vehicle.

A composite panorama from my buddy Ed's old place in Tucson.
A nice photo site between 2 vastly different communities: South Pasadena and lower L.A.
Circa 1995.
The old house from 1910 is not there anymore. I wish I could have bought that place.

Mount Lassen as seen from a great viewpoint just off I-5.
The site is actually at Manzanita Bay on Bainbridge Island, WA. A great place to shoot the Olympic Mountains.
