Nitonboy1 ~ Hello and thanks for the additional information ~ I'm glad to have bought back distant memories to you.
My favourite thing about this wonderful spot is the little clapboard cottage that is located roughly behind these boats ~ I'd love to live in it.

Good evening Nick,
I have walked to here from all 3 directions - coast path east and coast path west and by car from inland when I parked the car once at The Logan Rock Inn and was barred from using my normal Logan Rock approach path by some spraying activity on the farms so was diverted eastwards and promptly got lost and ended up at Penberth Cove. But was pleased to do so as I would not otherwise have discovered this delightdful place. Not quite true, I had passed it when doing this stretch of the Coast Path but it had been foggy and so it didn't visibly register!
