great photo, viewed from across the world, we see so few of this kind of memorial in australia and even fewer as we move to a more modern world - brief plaque showing name and dates - no real character, no hint of the past, no hopes and aspirations of family and friends - thanks for sharing this photo - I loved it! jenben, tasmania australia

This Portland water feature shows that waterfalls don't have to zig zag to look good, if the rock is positioned properly. Even our nearby waterfalls in the gorge are pretty straight drops naturally. This waterfall in the photo is a very nice showpiece worth using as a pattern.

Look closely. Just below Mt St. Helens there is a ridge of low mountains. Now follow the ridge to the right. There is a strip of light colored houses. That is where I am. (Scott)
