As a teenager.. some 35 years ago, my family every year rented the cabin that used to exist on the banks of "yew tree" about 50 meters to the left of this picture.. I only have black and white photos of it.. this shows you why we returned here again and again.. we loved this place.

On the Buses was filmed at both locations in Prestatyn. Most of it on Prestatyn Sands, but at least two scenes were shot on Tower Beach camp.

The colours are almost unreal. As a chef I would say it looks like a raw steak and fish with chilli.
